Stoichiometric Characteristics of Leaf, Litter and Soil during Vegetation Succession in Maolan National Nature Reserve, Guizhou, China

چکیده

Carbon (C), nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) are the main nutrient elements widely found in soil, litter leaves, their stoichiometric ratios important indicators of ecosystem functions. However, there is little research on effects that cycle vegetation succession have leaf, soil nutrients ratios, especially fragile karst areas. To reveal cycling characteristics stability mechanism during succession, samples were collected from herbaceous community (HC), shrub (SC), secondary forest (SF) primary (PF) a typical area at growth senescence phases. The results showed contents layers each significantly different phase. utilization efficiency N leaves first decreased then increased stages, P but reabsorption rates continuous decreasing trend. In addition, was significant allometric relationship between plant More importantly, internal content higher than content, suggesting affected our study region. strength them reflects inheritance co–variation to certain extent, differences strategies species use adapt environment. This concludes plants region mainly improve low stress ensure normal physiological biochemical responses process succession.
